JOB TITLE:                                Instrumental Music Teacher

START DATE:                            September 2026

LOCATION:                                Pawling Middle School and Pawling High School

BASIS OF EMPLOYMENT:     Full-time, probationary position

RATE OF PAY:                           As per the PCT Collective Bargaining Agreement

Job Qualifications

This position is responsible for providing music education at the Secondary Education Level (7-12), including general music instruction. The successful candidate will be prepared to direct the band program, including instrumental lessons, and may teach general music or electives like music technology. The successful candidate may also receive compensation and is encouraged to direct extracurricular ensembles including Pep Band, High School Studio Band, Middle School Jazz Band and High School Pit Orchestra. Candidates must possess a valid NYS Music Certification.
