TITLE: Occupational Therapist

BASIS OF EMPLOYMENT: Leave Replacement Position
RATE OF PAY: As per the established LTS Compensation Memorandum
* Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy goals and interventions consistent with students' IEPs and applicable regulations.
* Support the development of fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills necessary for participation in school activities.
* Provide direct and/or consultative services in accordance with students' IEPs.
* Collaborate with instructional staff and related service providers to support access to the curriculum, classroom participation and progress towards educational goals,.,
* Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports as required.
* Participate in CSE meetings and contribute professional recommendations regarding students' occupational therapy needs and services.
* Communicate and collaborate with family and school personnel to promote the generalization of skills across educational settings.
