JOB TITLE:                                   School Counselor

START DATE:                               September 2020

BASIS OF EMPLOYMENT:         Full time, Probationary, tenure-track position

RATE OF PAY:                             As per the PCT Collective Bargaining Agreement

Job Qualifications

• Excellent skills in communication, data-driven analysis, evidence-based theories and best practices 
• A high degree of creativity, cultural awareness and problem solving capabilities
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and effectively with students, parents, faculty staff, school and district leaders, and the community
• Full familiarity with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model and how it can be used to support District goals
• Exceptional interpersonal skills who is seen as a leader in advocating for students within a collaborative environment
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
• NYS Certificatoin
